CSEA hosts French Embassy Delegation for Economic Dialogue

The Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa welcomed a delegation from the Economic Department of the French Embassy in Nigeria on the 20th of August 2026, for an exchange on Abuja’s economic outlook. .

The discussion examined the opportunities and challenges shaping the city’s economy, with particular attention to the impact of policies  implemented by the Federal Capital Territory Authority (FCTA). . 

The engagement  followed the Embassy team's participation in the 7th Africa Emerging Markets Forum and reflects CSEA's continued role in providing research-driven insight to international partners and diplomatic missions operating in Nigeria.

The discussion further strengthened the exchange of ideas around the policy issues and opportunities that will shape Abuja’s economic trajectory in the years ahead.
