Dr. Oluwatosin Edafe and Dr. Martin Ufi, Research Fellows at the Centre for the Study of Economies of Africa, participated in the Mastercard Foundation Program Outcomes Assessment (POA) Training of Trainers (ToT), held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Upper Hill, Nairobi, Kenya, from 4–8 May 2026.
The training brought together Impact Partner Organizations (IPOs) and Mastercard Foundation teams to strengthen capacity for the upcoming assessment, covering key areas including POA methodology, data quality assurance, participant sampling, data governance, ethical research practices, qualitative and quantitative data collection, data analysis, and field implementation planning.
