Research Assistant
Princess Ewa is a Research Assistant at the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA), where she leverages data-driven insights to inform public policy and drive sustainable economic development, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Her research interests span macroeconomics, fiscal and monetary policies, and displacement dynamics. She is particularly committed to translating research into tangible outcomes that improve the lives of vulnerable populations, bridging the gap between academic research and real-world policymaking.
Princess earned a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and has received several recognitions, including the Best Position Paper Award (2022) by the International Model United Nations. In 2025, she led a team of ten young women to win the Women’s Policy Action Lab competition organised by the Gender Mobile and the Nigerian House of Representatives.
Looking ahead, she aspires to deepen her contributions to policy research and development, driving
solutions that foster resilience, equity, and sustainable growth in vulnerable communities worldwide.
