Emerging Markets Foreign Direct Investment Strategies: New Pathways And Policies To Green Growth


Representatives of think tanks around the globe, policymakers and experts convened for the Economic Policy Forum and Emerging Markets Multinationals Network Summit on September 15-16, 2014, in Berlin Germany. The summit tagged “Emerging Markets Foreign Direct Investment Strategies: New Pathways and Policies to Green Growth” aimed to identify new potential research focus and demand for evidence-based policy-making.

The summit also provided a platform to interlink the network with relevant business representatives and establish a new policy initiative around Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and green growth issues. The plenary and thematic break-out sessions enabled participants to engage in indepth discussions to help develop best practices and also discuss action plans and suggest policy recommendations on joint approaches to green policy and business solutions.
