Chigozie Nweke-Eze is currently an academic staff at the University of Bonn, Germany. He is part of the Future Rural Africa Project funded by the prestigious German Research Foundation. His research focuses on understanding the financing, governance, policies and infrastructures for large-scale energy and natural resources development from development economics and economic geography perspectives.
He has worked as a consultant for several organizations including for the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Eschborn-Germany, Adidas AG in Herzogenaurach-Germany, and the Nigerian Women Agro-Allied Farmers Association (NIWAAFA) based in Abuja-Nigeria.
He is also currently pursuing his PhD in economic geography at the University Bonn. Beforehand, he obtained Masters in Development Economics and International Studies from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg as well as M.Sc and B.Sc in Economics from Imo State and Nnamdi Azikiwe Universities.
