Iraoya is a Research Associate at the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa. He holds a Masters Degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria, and another Collaborative Masters Degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Sokoine University of Agriculture Tanzania and the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension, from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria, and is a member of the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) Network.
His research interests include International Trade, Agricultural Policy Analysis, Climate Change, Sustainable Development, and Multidimensional Poverty. He previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria.
