Thelma Obiakor is a Research Fellow at CSEA. She also works as an evaluator in the fields of Economics, Education, and Finance, with a critical lens on inclusive development. Her work is situated in the nexus between research, evaluation, policy and practice.

She supports international donor organisations and government agencies in gathering evidence and collecting data to inform decision making and conducts rigorous results-based evaluations to measure the impact of their work. She also offers training in Results-Based Management (RBM), including Monitoring and Evaluation, and has developed and deployed several online and offline RBM systems for NGOs in Africa. 

Thelma is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Social Policy at the London School oF Economics and Political Science (LSE). She received a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia.
